Easter Activities Update

easter-bunny-pink-free-clipart-1There will be no swimming classes for the next two weeks and Forest School is now finished.

The children will instead be enjoying a range of Easter activities including egg hunts, spring walks, egg decorating and maybe even a trip to the cinema.

Swimming will resume on Monday 11th April.

Sainsbury’s Active Kids

active schoolIt’s that time of year and once again we are collecting Active Kids vouchers.

If we could kindly ask parents who shop at Sainsbury’s to pop any vouchers that they collect into the boxes provided in each nursery, it would be mush appreciated.

All of our nurseries benefit from these vouchers and every year the children are so excited to see what sports and cooking equipment we get donated from Sainsbury’s.

Thank You.

Tofu is a Hit!

Our Children at Walker Street Nursery loved Suzi’s sweet and sour tofu with rice noodles.

We spent lunch guessing what vegetables we were eating and the children enjoyed the new textures.

Our favourite quote of the day was ‘I tried a bean sprout and I liked it!’

Our New Topic

Our new topic is on families and what they mean to us.

As part of this topic we have been making charts showing how many people are in our family and we thought it would be nice if we could add some photos to these charts.

If we could ask you to bring in some family photos for the children to use that would be great. These don’t have to be original photos, they could be scanned or printed copies.

Thanks

Damaris
