The Camp America Adventure

As some of you will know, Chloe (Walker Street) and Jordan (Melville Street) are finishing up to set off on a Camp America adventure.

We will all be sad to see them go but its not goodbye, instead only bon voyage!

Have an amazing trip, and we all look forward to hearing your stories when we welcome you both back in October.

Good Luck!

Say Hello to Cara

Cara Stenhouse - Nursery AssistantHi my name is Cara. I started at Melville Street on a placement during March 2016 and I started working here officially at the beginning of May 2016 as a Modern Apprentice.

I am currently based in the pre-school room but I will often help out in the other rooms which is a great opportunity to help me gain more experience.

I am at college working towards my SVQ Level 3 to become a nursery practitioner by the near end of September 2017.

Meet Courtney

Courtney Richardson - Nursery AssistantHello my name is Courtney and I am working towards my SVQ level 3 in child care. I have experience working with all ages throughout the nursery and I also worked in a primary school for a short time.

I am eager to learn about each child as an individual and bring lots of excitement and fun to the nursery.

In my spare time I tend to go on walks, go swimming with my little cousin and I also take my little brother on fun day trips.

I am looking forward to working with all the children and getting to know each of them so I can help them grow and develop.

Say Hello To Emma

Emma Rolland - Nursery AssistantMy name is Emma Rolland. I started at Doune Terrace Nursery as a student and was delighted to be employed as a full time member of staff.

Since starting as a student I have been mainly working with the babies which I love. I have also worked a little in the other rooms which was fun.

I am currently studying for my SVQ3 in Social Work and Childcare and I am looking forward to learning more about working with children.

I have lots of experience looking after my little cousins which inspired me to work with children as a career.

I am excited to get to know all the children and meet their families too.
