Getting Ready for School Workshop Reminder – 24th May 2016

reminder4The Getting Ready for School Workshop will take place on Tuesday at 7.30pm in Old Coates House.

Maureen always has fantastic feedback from pre school parents on this event and most people find it very helpful and positive.

Parents who would like to attend but have not yet confirmed, can you please do so today.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

What a Fantastic Show!

Thank you to all the parents and family that came along to our performance of Little Red Riding Hood.

The children put in so much effort and sang their little hearts out on the day. I’m sure you will agree how fantastic they all were.

I think we might just have some budding actors and actresses at Old Coates House!

Little Red Riding Hood Performance – 10th May 2016

reminder4Just a reminder that our performance of Little Red Riding Hood will be taking place at Comely Bank Church tomorrow at 4pm.

Could we ask that all children wear bright spring colours for our show.

Due to the hall being used straight after our show unfortunately we will be unable to provide refreshments but children who attend nursery on this day will be provided with a packed tea to take away with them.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Meet Courtney

Courtney Richardson - Nursery AssistantHello my name is Courtney and I am working towards my SVQ level 3 in child care. I have experience working with all ages throughout the nursery and I also worked in a primary school for a short time.

I am eager to learn about each child as an individual and bring lots of excitement and fun to the nursery.

In my spare time I tend to go on walks, go swimming with my little cousin and I also take my little brother on fun day trips.

I am looking forward to working with all the children and getting to know each of them so I can help them grow and develop.

Young Persons Job Roadshow

DYW-Jobs-RoadshowEarly Days Nurseries will be taking part in the Young Persons Job Roadshow at the Assembly Rooms next Friday.

The event is hosted by Developing the Young Workforce and will see a a number of employers invited to exhibit with a view to recruiting from a vast pool of school and college leavers.

This will give Early Days the opportunity to showcase our fantastic nurseries to the very people we hope to bring on board and continue to help us grow.

We are privileged to be involved such an event and we are looking forward to meeting the all young people that attend.

You can find out more about Developing the Young Workforce and what they do for young people below.
